From Thursday 2 November until 31 December, every time a customer makes a transaction that includes a hot drink through Caffè Nero’s payment and loyalty app, they will receive a digital Caffè Nero Christmas Cracker – and all they will have to do is “shake” or “pull” it open to find out if they’ve won.
But unlike traditional Christmas crackers, there won’t be a mini nail file, pencil sharpener or measuring tape to be found in any Caffè Nero Christmas Crackers. Instead, app customers will be in with the chance to win over 200,000 top-notch prizes including, to name but a few:
Along with the chance to win the top prizes, there will also be thousands of golden Caffe Nero loyalty bonus stamps up for grabs, as well as limited edition gift cards, coffee vouchers, Christmas cakes and Caffè Nero’s new Festive Turkey Special Ciabatta.
To maximise the chances of winning a prize, every app customer who buys a hot drink during the first week of the promotion will receive two Christmas Crackers. What’s more, winning app users will have the choice to share some of these fantastic prizes with their friends and family to make their Christmas gift-giving even more special this year.
But if app customers find their Cracker doesn’t contain an amazing prize first or second time round, they need not fear. They’ll still receive a nice little Christmas Cracker joke to keep them in the festive mood – making sure they’re crowned this year’s Christmas comedian at the dinner table.
Unlike any other loyalty platform, the Yoyo-powered Caffé Nero app, which seamlessly combines payment and loyalty, is able to identify customer behaviour through their individual basket data at the point-of-sale.
