PAUL UK selects Yoyo to introduce a combined mobile payments and personalised loyalty app to its customers

Leading French bakery and patisserie, PAUL UK, has hired Yoyo, Europe’s fastest-growing digital payment, loyalty and marketing solution, to build and launch its first mobile payment and personalised loyalty app, which will be exclusively available to UK customers from 20 May 2019.

The fully-branded PAUL UK app, which will be free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play, will make payment synonymous with a rewarding experience, providing customers with:

  • Secure, straight-through mobile payment
  • Automated PAUL loyalty accumulation
  • Instant PAUL rewards redemption and voucher sharing
  • Digital receipt collection

It will replace PAUL’s popular loyalty card ‘La Carte Noire’, enabling customers to pay, collect reward points and receive tailored offers through their mobile device for the first time.

For every £1 spent using the PAUL UK app, customers will earn 100 points. They will then be able to collect or exchange points for free items in-app only. Customers will also be able to earn free hot drinks via the in-app digital stamp card.

PAUL UK will gift customers with 1,000 points when they download the app for the first time and and provide extra rewards when they refer a friend.

Through the mobile payment feature, PAUL will also be able to capture fully anonymised customer purchase data, including the types of products they buy, as well as the timing and frequency of their visits, in order to generate the most personalised rewards and in-store experiences. PAUL will also be able to delight customers with surprise rewards and offers based on different behaviours.

PAUL UK customers will join more than 1.5 million Yoyo users, who will also be able to use the benefits of the new PAUL UK app.
