Yoyo hires PayPal GM Simon Moran to power UK high-street growth

Yoyo has hired PayPal general manager Simon Moran as its first VP of Commercial.

In the newly created role, Moran has been briefed to drive Yoyo’s commercial ambitions forward, grow the company’s presence on the UK high street, and continue its growth in the business & industry and education sectors.

Moran has been active in the payments and fintech space since 2000, having previously worked at Visa and American Express, before joining PayPal in 2008, where he was a key member of its UK senior leadership team.

Alain Falys, co-founder and CEO of Yoyo, said:
