Caffè Nero selects Yoyo as mobile payment and loyalty strategy partner

Yoyo, the UK’s most used mobile wallet, has been selected as mobile payment and loyalty strategy partner for Caffè Nero.

The UK-wide partnership will see Caffè Nero bring mobile to the heart of its payment and loyalty strategy, and have implications for all of its stores across the UK and Ireland.

The deal represents a significant move onto the UK high street for Yoyo, and will further solidify its position as the UK’s most used mobile wallet.

Launched in 2013, Yoyo is already live more than 50 per cent of UK universities,including Imperial College London and University of Birmingham, and over 100 corporate locations, including offices at PwC, JP Morgan and Visa.

The new partnership with Caffè Nero is the culmination of a relationship, which started in April 2014 when Yoyo, having won the Duke of York’s inaugural Pitch at the Palace event, ended its pitch by making one simple request of the audience – an introduction to Caffè Nero founder Gerry Ford.

Ford said of the new deal:
